A little about me...
I'm a dynamic, high energy person, optimistic, assertive, down-to-earth, easy to talk with, intuitive, sensitive, sincere and outgoing. I'm spiritual but not religious, emotionally and financially secure and independent. I have a good sense of humor and I love to laugh. I enjoy relaxing with a good book and have a huge library. I like movies, live theatre, travel, walks, quiet times, the study of metaphysics, and music from classical to New Age to country. I value friendship first, self growth, sharing but also time alone, people with strength of character who are open to others' views, and stimulating conversation. I'm absorbed with my life, passionate about my work and about my relationships with those who are important to me. I'm a life coach and relationship counselor who left the corporate world in 2000 and started my own private practice. I love the freedom, flexibility and versatility of life as an entrepreneur, and am still working two to three days/week - which keeps me young!
About the one I'm looking for...
I'm interested in meeting someone who loves his independence and freedom as I do, knows himself well and invests heavily in what/who is important to him - someone who is passionate about life, people and animals. I hope he is lighthearted, has a great sense of humor and smiles a lot; that he's at least a year out of his divorce/widowhood, a nonsmoker, down to earth, playful, straightforward and honest, generous with himself and others. I'd love it if he is also spiritual but not religious, clean-shaven. Hair on one's face feels somewhat like a mask - and I just want to know what you look like!
I feel a healthy relationship is a balanced one, in which there is mutual respect, shared values, spiritual exploration, great communication, humor/playfulness, openness to explore/develop each other's (and the relationship's) potential, and a strong connection. While I want a monogamous and permanent relationship, I'm not looking for marriage at this point in my life. I also neither expect nor hope to meet someone with whom I share all activities and interests, as I've learned that the differences in those areas can enrich a relationship as much as those shared. Supporting activities we each like to do alone or with others is critical.
I'd just like to add...
I enjoy spending time with friends, live theatre, browsing used/discount bookstores, flea markets, antique shops - occasionally fishing. Always, the person I'm with is more important than what we're doing. It's been great to take vacations to different countries, as well as weekend getaways to Traverse City, Stratford, Ontario or Chicago. I love cruises and spiritual workshops, and have gone on them alone many times. I enjoy the Chix Soup books for brief bedtime reading, and most of my fave reads are inspirational - The Secret, Love Them Anyway, and When I Loved Myself Enough. I share my home with two six-year-old special felines. I love dogs, too, just can't have them in my condo!

My Top Interests:
Religion and Spirituality
I'm into Spirituality, not religion - and read and attend workshops a great deal in this area - angelic and other mystical experiences, NDE's, Law of Attraction, etc.
Inspirational or mystical movies, dramas, true life experiences, comedies, a great action film if there's a lot of comic relief integrated, and more!
I love to travel, especially cruises and weekend getaways!
