A little about me...
I love's ups and downs and crazy kinks in the road. I'm pretty simple, like to have fun and am just looking for a good guy who enjoys the same things as I do. A road trip with the top down, sitting on the porch swing sharing a bottle of wine or glass of iced tea, watching a good ball game or playing 9 holes on a Saturday morning, making blueberry pancakes on the weekend or a good family BBQ in the back yard - all enjoyable when shared with 'you'.

My children are grown and have been my greatest life accomplishment. I have a successful career and am pretty content with life. I believe that we should make a difference - whether conversing with a cashier or hard working, tired waiter/waitress, donating time to a worthy cause, helping those who aren't as fortunate as us with a warm meal or a hand up - a smile when someone most needs one.
Oh, it's not that I haven't experienced disappointment or heartache...who hasn't? I have, however, NOT let it define me. It's half time - I want to live the second half with more passion than the first!

About the one I'm looking for...
I don't have a list of 'must haves' as I will know when I find him. Character, a good sense of humor, an infectious smile and laugh...a guy with whom I can worship, play, enjoy family and who just wants to be my best friend and last love. Pretty simple. I love affection and consider myself a 'giver' in a relationship. It's the little daily things - the gentle touch as you pass in the kitchen, the smile across the yard while trimming the rose bushes, the "I'm getting up, do you need anything?", the small tokens that speak one another's 'love language' and makes your day meaningful and your relationship strong. "In honor, preferring one another".

Emotional, Spiritual, Intellectual and Physical health are all very important to me. Finding the balance (not extremes) in all these things is even more important. A great relationship is one where each of you can move forward in all these areas - individually AND together.

I'd just like to add...
Just a couple of 'by the ways'......I'm open to 'the path'...whatever that is or looks like. Being brutally honest, I have no desire to be a 'serial dater' and no interest in finding new male 'friends'. Life is full. Life is busy. Life is short. I don't expect perfection - I don't offer perfection. Long distance is hard on a good day.

The thing that makes relationships wonderful is the history you build together. Let's 'invest' in a relationship....not just 'spend time' in one. Let's build that history.
