A little about me...
Hi! So glad you are taking a look at this short bio which isn't really a bio because I am just talking about an ordinary day in my life...and I love my life and would like to find a best friend to share my life with
I am an artist and art teacher. I have been living in New Mexico since the early 70's - the first 17 of these years I lived in Taos and worked full time as an artist. Fortune brought me to Albuquerque to raise my youngest son and complete my undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Most mornings I like to get up before the birds and read a few pages in a book by Pema Chodron or Thich Nat Hahn. Then I journal, water plants, do a few chores, maybe a few flows (yoga), go to a yoga class, or work in my studio. During the school year I teach at UNM one night a week in addition to teaching art and college preparededness to middle school students. Recently I have been catching some good movies at the Guild and the Kimo and last week I attended a TedX Salon on Education which was really interesting. Acouple of weeks ago I went on a moonlight hike in Cerrillos but I need to work more hiking in and would love to find someone who is into exploring New Mexico's trails (if the fires stop and the mountains are reopened) and histor
About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for a kind person; someone who communicates well and has a good sense of humor - this is super important. Mutual attraction (chemistry) is important too. I simply love brains but maybe not brainiacs and certainly not arrogance. Having some spiritual practice is a plus.
