A little about me...
All things being equal, I'd like to "meet cute." I'm pretty much game for anyone or thing, but a widely read reader is probably a must. It would be good if she walks and walks and in boros outside Manhattan. It would be excellent if she were up for live jazz. I write for publication. ("Oulipo") Since I don't understand my own stuff, you certainly need not. And the more I write, the more low brow is my reading, as I stoop to high seriousness only in order to discover new forms--the last was W.G. Sebald. On the one hand, I am deeply devoted to "The Toxic Avenger" series. On the other, I did see the trailer for THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE PART 2, and have begged off the flick itself. (Part 1 was G rated compared to 2's off-the-charts.) All above all, we will walk thru fireplaces and sit in the surf. I estimate that as many as 10,000 people world wide find me or would find me funny. Those who love me find me handsome.
About the one I'm looking for...
One last relationship--romantic to be sure, but friendship, too. I am a glass half empty type, enamored of what I have never done before and, most of all, of what I know nothing. It would be nice if you were, too. In the final analysis, we either get along or we don't.
I'd just like to add...
Since I have family there, who will never move, I go to Paris often. That sort of precludes exotica.

My Top Interests:
When young, I was a sports fan. Since Jeremy Lin came along I have gone so far as to obtain cable tv. I am kind of a junkie for batting cages.
I listen to jazz. I know jazz. I cannot go too long without live jazz. I am not so much interested in the famous and/or famed as I am in artists I do not know. Recently, and from virtually nowhere, I have acquired quite a taste for the Metropolitan Opera.
I have had two bike collisions with cars; I don't think I can have a 3d. Also, between a pinched nerve and inner ear problems, I, who exercised at least 5 times a week, am quite the sloth nowadays. However, I am fanatically conscientious about my physical therapy, and by now have learned to be careful in undertaking activities new to me. I believe it will be a couple of months, and I'll be exercising again. Incidentally, for me exercise is #1 for mental health.
