A little about me...
I'm a single mom now, as my husband died in 2009. So, the dating scene is quite new to me, after a 25 year marriage. I moved to Pa in 2002 (because the houses were cheaper than Jersey) after suffering a stroke. That's right I said stroke. I figured I should be honest and not hide anything. My 17 yr adopted old daughter means the world to me. I've always considered her a gift from God. I'm a kind and honest woman with a big heart.
About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for a kind, honest, hard working man who loves kids and animals. I guess I'm looking for a long term relationship. After losing my Mom and husband within 3 months of each other I get pretty lonely at times. Some companionship would be nice. I have my daughter, but she's busy with her bf and going out. Someone to go out to see a movie or dinner or just taking a ride. I have my cats for company but I don't want to turn into a lonely old cat woman!
I'd just like to add...
I like to go to the movies, concerts and the beach. I'm still a Jersey Girl at heart so we visit the shore every summer. I've always loved New England, especially Vermont and Maine. Some of my very special memories of my Mom are vacations we took there along with my daughter, sister and niece and nephew. They were some good times. I like motorcycles, especially Harleys. My brother treated himself to one when he turned 50. Now he's on his 2nd bike. Bigger and better I guess. My dream is to see Hawaii. A honeymoon would be beautiful there I'm sure. (Now I'm dreaming!) I like most kinds of music -- like country, oldies (just saw Frankie Valli at Universal in Feb. but my daughter and her bf couldn't take too much of him), Eagles, the Boss of course, Phil Collins, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Rod Stewart, etc, etc, etc. I like Tyler Perry movies. They're so funny, yet they have a message. I have friends in Orlando so I took my daughter there for her 16th B-day. She fell in love with Fl so we went back this past Feb. and celebrated Mardi Gras with our friends. Saw Harry Potter too. Speaking of Fl we were thinking of moving to Orlando but I keep thinking i would miss the seasons.
