A little about me...
I am passionate about life because every day is a gift from God. I am also very thankful that I have great moral values and was raised to believe that marriage between a man and a woman is Jesus' way for us to find happiness in life. Another passion of mine is rural America. The peacefulness, the sense of community and of course, the people in this part of the country are what I truly love. Living in rural America brings me a sense of peace. I love walking through the woods, hunting, fishing, working on projects on the farm and all of the other wonderful things that come with living in this area.
After college, I decided to stay home and take care of my ailing father. He was not only my father; he was my best friend. He taught me to treat people fairly, to work hard and to put family first. I lost my father in June of 2006 and then in July of 2009, my mom passed away. The values of my parents are rooted in my veins. I gave up a lot to take care of them, but I'd do it all over again. The last lesson I would love to go visit Italy to explore where my parents came from someday. Maybe you can come along?
About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for a friend first then if things work out, maybe we can progress to something more. It is important to be friends first because you need to establish a joyful connection together. Someone who is outgoing and fun to be with is who I am looking for. It would be nice to find someone who enjoys working outside on the farm, going fishing down by the river or going hunting. I want someone who has the same great moral values that I have. Also, I definitely want to find someone who believes that marriage is a sacred commitment for life!
I'd just like to add...
The first thing that people notice about me is that I am very trustful. I think of others before I think of myself. It is a much easier ride without drama, so my hope is for everyone to get along – so people notice how easy going I am. I love to tell ridiculously cute (okay, dumb) jokes for the smiles =) What do you call a steer with no legs? Give up? Ground beef! Gotcha!
In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, such as having them over for dinner. One of my favorite activities is hiking in the woods. Hiking is great exercise and a wonderful way to learn about nature. It brings a sense of peace and a way to get away from everyday life. While hiking, I love to search for morel mushrooms in the spring. Going to flea markets, riding motorcycles, fishing, and gardening are other things I enjoy. Hunting is one of my all time favorite activities. When I watch TV, it is usually a comedy, history show or a football game, especially Minnesota Vikings. Most of all, I love spending time with my family.
