A little about me...
I'm honest, down to earth, easy going, enjoy laughing, but know when to be serious. I enjoy baking and cooking, gardening, walks, picnics, flea markets, car shows, camping, dining in/out, movies and much more. I'm willing to try almost anything - excluding bungee jumping and parachuting - at least once.
My family is important to me, although I have no children of my own, I am a loving aunt to my nieces and nephews and their children...your children will always be welcome. I enjoy being outdoors whether it's working in my garden or going for a walk. My days playing softball, volleyball and bowling are a happy memory. I took a few golf lessons a couple of years ago, haven't played since, but would like to get out and practice.
Although I have enjoyed the 6 1/2 years I've been retired I decided it was time to get a job. So I've started working part time for a new store that is scheduled to open in Kearney at the end of April. I'm excited about starting something new and different than I've ever done before.
About the one I'm looking for...
There is no such thing as an ideal match - we all have our merits and our faults - me included. I'm looking for a single male around my age, tall or not so tall, full head of hair or not - it is more important to me how you treat others - me included, than what you do for a living or what you earn. I'm not into one night stands and expect the same from you. Foremost, you must be honest. Relationships take time to develop - so we exchange a few emails to get to know the basics about each other which hopefully leads to a first meeting, to be followed by a first date and from there we see where life lead us. It would be great if you enjoyed outdoor activities (walks, picnic, fairs, flea markets, car shows, camping, etc.), like to travel on occasion - near or far, eating in or out.
I'd just like to add...
I'm not in a hurry and not willing to settle. I prefer to take it one day at a time and find someone who I can trust with everything, including my heart. I don't read minds so communication is important. If you are only seeking a 'friends with benefits' relationship, I'm not what you are seeking - please pass me by.
I'm open to trying new things, but draw the line at jumping out a perfectly good airplane or off a bridge with a rubber band tied around my ankles -- you go ahead, I'll watch and wait for your return. Like to travel, but its no fun going alone.
Flirts are nice, but a message would be better. Also, fair is fair....as I have posted a photo, please be so kind as to do the same.
