A little about me...
I'm kinda old fashioned, hard working, loyal, very family oriented, and I love my kids; they're what keep me going. I like to think that I'm a hopeless romantic. I like old cars, fast cars, racing, and anything outdoors. I golf poorly, fish and other out door activities, not enough, most things go better with a partner. I like listening to rock'n roll oldies, soul, and Dop Wop, but can enjoy almost any type of music. I love to travel, have a romantic dinner out, a home cooked meal, and BBQ out in the back yard with friends and family. While I'm an old farm boy living in the city, I do have varied interests. I can do a coat and tie or more comfortable jeans and tennis shoes. I took my first motorcycle road trip this summer and want to do more. I would like to find someone to share the next trip with. I like all types of travel, trains, planes, automobiles,-- planned, or spontaneous. I like to keep busy but I can be persuaded to cozy up on the couch for together time. Not big on shopping but with the right incentive I might be talked into going. No games, no time for it.
About the one I'm looking for...
Looking for a friend, someone to talk to, and someone to have fun with then we'll go from there. I'm seeking companionship that hopefully can morph into my new best friend and confidant. Looking for someone who is hard working, hard playing, open, fun loving, and above all honest, and of good moral character. (Just threw the last one in to see if you were paying attention.) You should be independent, able to do things own your own, yet be able to become "us" and spend "us" time together. Be a true partner, you know; hold up your end of the bargain. I like animals but don't have any because I want to be able to take off when ever the mood strikes. A bonus would be if you're good with a wrench, as I'm rebuilding a 66 Mustang and a 72 Nova with my son. It would be great if you are good at home decorating because I'm terrible.
I enjoy the company of a good woman, who can let me open your door, hold your hand, walk with you arm in arm, provide a shoulder for you to rest your head on. I know what side to walk on when we walk down the street, and while I don't always remember all of these things at any given time but I know them, and I look forward to practicing them, with you.
I'd just like to add...
If I can only find my camera I can post more pictures. Maybe it's under the couch?
By the way I have a house for the couch. I'm gainfully employed, was looking forward to an early retirement until the ex decided otherwise, so I am still working. Oh well it keeps me off the streets.
I'm comfortable where I'm at in life. I don't need to keep up with the Jone's. I don't even know where they live.
I'm ready and eager to move forward with my life and hope to share it with someone special.
I think life is a balancing act, so many things to do, yet you need to take time to smell the roses.
Part of my Bucket List. I want to drive the Pacific Coast Hwy, the original Rte 66, Europe, The Great Wall of China, ride the Orient Express and much more. What's on your list?
I just found out that if you Fav someone it sends a message. I thought it was a place to save a profile to look at later. oops!!!
The other thing I realized that if you look at someones profile it tells you how many times you looked at it. For those of you that I looked at several times I'm not a stalker. I'm getting old and I have CRS (can't remember S__t). That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
