A little about me...
When we grow up we dream of what we want to be... Well, that turned out quite nicely as I look back. A farm boy, sailor, college student, cowboy, farm manager, banker, husband, father, now known as Poppa to five grandkids, and a fair golfer. (Well maybe just a so so golfer.) Mom and I had a very good life until "the angels not half so happy in heaven took her way from me." (Yes, I do like to read E.A.Poe from time to time.) I've been known to write a poem or two when the mood is right. I use to paint until I found out It was about as good as my golf game. I may take it up again when the night get long and its to cold up here to get outside and care for my lawn. I am fairly handy with a hammer and saw and at one time thought I would like to build a house. (not hire a house constructed but do all the physical work myself.) That dream may have passed me by, but I still can dream as you may know. Though, can't say the dream of being a cowboy was like we saw in the movies back in the 1940's, but who knows, a cowboy might get lucky after all these years.

My buddies have almost convinced me I'd be a really good catch, but of course these are the same bunch that keeps telling me I don't look a day over 80.

About the one I'm looking for...
Looking for another dreamer who also wonders what she wants to be when she grows up. Perhaps she should like to listen to a few good poems. Then maybe, when in the mood to polish up the wood and ivory piano keys by playing for me "Green Dolphin Street", "Li'l Darlin'”, or "Sophisticated Lady" I'll reward her by drinking in the atmosphere with my mind. ("In the Mood" works well also) Before I get to deep into this dream, remind me while I wait for your imagination to come my way, this Wurlitzer piano is hard to carry from green to green on most golf courses. OK, I'll have to come up with another dream for in the morning. Although some dreams are heavy they don't cost a thing.

If by your own experience you benefit from a sturdy calmness but are still searching for another with the same, it could be just a click of your mouse away.

I'd just like to add...
Music, I'm fond of most all Jazz from Ellington to Honky-tonk. And, if you have a couple of Jimmy Buffet LP's around, we can dust off their covers and give them a spin. To make me contented try playing the lingering songs sang by Enya. Don't ask me to sing. My music career ended in the third grade when I found out my rough voice did not harmonize with my class mates and was told to just stand there and hold a candle and not open my mouth. But, along the way, I did learn how to dance. If the wind is right, I can skipper a 22 foot Venture sailboat, or could be a dutiful first mate if another captain be in need of her crew to lend a hand. My Passport is current and I can have my one bag packed quickly just in case you have the lust to wander down some "...road less traveled by." (That excerpt taken from Robert Frost)

As I grow up, I've found that having only two rules works well.
#1-Never make more rules than this one.
#2-Re-read rule #1
