A little about me...
I have had a very interesting life, having grown up on a farm in Iowa. After leaving for college, I settled down in Colorado where my children were raised. I have worked as school secretary, and spent 25 years in the accounting field - always around new friends. I've always thought of myself as a "people person" .I have lived in quite a few different areas, such as AZ, New Mexico, and NV before moving to AL. Since retiring I enjoy my circle of friends, but would enjoy meeting a new "special" friend.
About the one I'm looking for...
Someone who is kind, honest, trustworthy with a GREAT smile, and someone who would enjoy a casual friendship at first, then who knows where it might go. I would enjoy a companion who might like short trips, or outings. I enjoy dining out with interesting conversation. I'm a good listener. I would always give my 'friend" respect, and would like the same.
I enjoy hugs - - haven't had any today, have you???
I'd just like to add...
. Since I've retired-I find I would enjoy a man's companionship; travelling partner, someone who enjoys being in a relationship. Most of my family live out-of-state , so I have time to enjoy new friendships . Am willing and able to see new places, and do new things. Traveling would be fun with someone-there are so many places I would really enjoy seeing, some of those places are very close. Quiet times at home or being with someone to watch sunsets would be great. I enjoy simple things with the right person. There's nothing like the love of that special someone .

My Top Interests:
Family and Friends
Family is always important and each day could bring new and interesting friends.
Music such as back in the 50's and 60's, also ';big band' ; country music is great. Do not enjoy rap, or some of todays sounds.
Nature and Outdoors
Observing new areas, quiet walks, travelling to new places and going back to familiar beautiful areas-within our country. I have no desire to go to other countries, but have enjoyed short cruises.
