A little about me...
Five years ago I would never have seen myself returning to school, yet this past year found me finishing my bachelor's degree and continuing on toward my master's in nursing. I discovered that although I knew what the word "procrastinator" meant at the age of 8 and could effectively use it in both sentences and homework, I can now work consistently and effectively on my own.
I have discovered patience this last year. Being a grandparent brings with it the patience that I never seemed to have with my daughter. Maybe its experience, maybe it's personal growth, but I find I'm much more mellow when dealing with personality quirks.
About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for friendship first in a relationship. I value loyalty and honesty and the ability to laugh at the foibles of oneself and others. I have a close relationship with my family and hope that my friends can value that trait in me. I enjoy history and like sharing the past with others. I sing and play the piano, yet I am shy about sharing these activities. I look for someone who can bring out my talents.
I'd just like to add...
I enjoy reading, although because of school I haven't read a book just for enjoyment in many months. I enjoy camping, walking in the woods and Shakespeare in Ashland. I am conservative in my political and social views yet work in a field that promotes liberal social agendas so I find that I can be diplomatic in touchy situations.

Family and Friends
Grandparenthood is the most wonderful experience! That little person you watch grow up and give your child the same exasperation she gave you is your co-conspirator in mischief.
