A little about me...
I am thoughtful, caring, hard working, gentlemanly and have a zest for life. I am physically fit and work hard at remaining that way. I really enjoy making people feel good about themselves and have quite a sense of humor. I am not short on complements and try to avoid being critical. I will generally only offer advice when I am asked to do so or when my advice might truly benefit someone. I enjoy socializing and many activities, especially those that take place outdoors.
About the one I'm looking for...
I think respect, honesty, loyalty and commitment are the key ingredients to a successful relationship. I believe that being able to lift each other up in times of need and remain steadfast in handling everyday challenges as a team are key components to having a strong union. Not enough can be said about having the ability to continually communicate with each other and keep the guess work on the shelf. A couple that seeks to compliment each other in their appearance and demeanor generate a confidence not only with each other but onlookers as well. I respond to a lady who has confidence in herself, does not exhibit jealousy or scorn and always knows that when she is with me she has a special man holding her hand. I would definitely be aware that I have a special woman holding mine.
I'd just like to add...
I am a strong but gentle man. I do not like controversy and believe that most times uncomfortable situations can be handled diplomatically. I have had extensive training in safety and security and find that training to be a valuable asset. I was a manager in a large business for almost twenty years so I really enjoyed teaching and sharing what knowledge I may have with others. I am a pretty patient person also. I enjoy hiking, walking, fishing, golfing, landscaping, gardening, weightlifting and especially those things that I can do outdoors. I enjoy observing scenery's and wildlife and can be pretty adventurous. Dining out or making dinner at home for a guest are simple pleasures. Yes, I can cook but I am mostly meat and potatoes and salads. I had to learn how to cook right after my divorce as I had an eleven year old son to take care of when his mom moved to another state. He and I are best friends, is successful beyond my dreams and is very happily married. My book is not not done so I am hoping that you and I can write some new and exciting chapters in it. Can the best be yet to come?

My Top Interests:
The most important thing with fitness training is it is healthy for you. I find that having a very good exercise regimen is good for the mind, body and the soul. It enables you to deal with daily stress far easier and it is also a great confidence builder. Performing daily tasks become second nature. I feel not only stronger but more cognizant of things in every day life as well
Nature and Outdoors
I am a very big advocate of nature and the outdoors. I can watch animals for hours foraging for food, building their homes, nurturing their young and protecting their interest. no matter what time of the year the outdoors constantly paints a different picture. So many people go outdoors and see cars and buildings and streets and sidewalks. I see azure skies, storm clouds, and assortments of leaves on the trees, insects, wildlife and a serenity that can only be captured by really seeing it all.
Sporting events can be physically challenging for the participants and mentally rewarding. Training for sports is self explanatory for the health of body and mind. Competition can be very good for the sake of teamwork and building self confidence. Oft times as you get better as a participant it gives you a purpose in life that you may not otherwise have had. This is good for the soul. Observing sports can enrich our minds and also serve to be very satisfying and soothing.
